Dear Parents, Educators, First Responders, and Community Members,
Please join the Grundy Safe Communities Coalition and TN Bureau of Investigation: Dangerous Drugs Task Force (TDDTF) on Monday, December 8th from 5-8pm CST at the Armory in Monteagle, TN to learn about current drug trends and how they affect our community. While this event is typically reserved for first responders and healthcare workers, TDDTF will make this vital information available to our larger community in order to spread awareness of growing drug trends. He will discuss the event and share important information on emerging drug threats facing our communities and impacting our children and families. He will also talk about the efforts of the TBI/TDDTF and our local partners to address these issues. Topics of discussion include: fentanyl; methamphetamine; vapes; THC; etc., Drug Endangered Children, Handle with Care, and available services. (i.e., Pill Take Back, Drug Evidence Incineration, presumptive drug testing).
By attending the December 8th event you will:
